Books Country Ovilos Semillon Assyrtiko 2024 (BIO) 0.75L Dry White Wine type: White, dry, Local wine of Paggaio Varietal Composition: 50% Assyrtiko, 50% Semillon It is the result of the combination of two excellent varieties, Assyrtiko and Semillon (a Bordeaux variety), which are planted in the hottest and most barren spot of the estate's vineyard, on the slopes of Mount Paggaio. The aromatic expression of Semillon with its great aging potential is harmoniously complemented by the strength, structure, and excellent acidity provided by Assyrtiko. It has a bright yellow color with slight green highlights. Its nose is elegant, expressive, with aromas of apricot and honey coexisting with notes of tropical fruits and citrus. All of the above is surrounded by a delicate sense of barrel with elements of nuts and vanilla. Its taste is rich, complex, balanced perfectly with the wealth of aromas of fruits, honey, nuts, and its refreshing acidity. It can age for up to 8 years, during which it develops a particular creaminess and an exceptional bouquet of aromas. Enjoy it at 12°°C.
