Original WWII RAF Irvin flying jacket ‘Thermally Insulated Flying Suit. This example is of a wartime multiple panel construction “Stores reference 22c/321, size 5”. The leather is generally in good overall condition, normal traces of wear. Both cuffs and waist retain reasonable amounts of fur trim. All zips are original with their original leather pulls, they are all three funtional. The belt, collar strap and rings and leather hanger (hanger has loose stitching) are complete and in good condition. Labelled with its original label. Irvin flying jackets are getting hard to find in this condition!
